Pre-School Graduation

It's nearly impossible to believe that Tela's year of pre-school is over. I remember very clearly the excitement and disbelief leading up to her very first day of pre-school; it seems like just yesterday ... although the day she was born also seems like it happened just yesterday, and that's nearly 5 years ago already. Now I see what others mean when they say "Time goes by too fast!" I've realized that time will pass by much too quickly if you're not paying attention.

Now ... the Graduation!

We're all waiting for Tela and the rest of the pre-school class to arrive on stage.

Here she comes! Let the show begin.
Here's a sampling of the show's songs, which included Letter Songs (they actually sang a little jingle for every letter of the alphabet) and a variety of other kid songs. Tela especially liked to perform the upbeat songs because she could bop around.

The Pre-School Graduate!

We celebrated with lunch after the graduation at Osaka, Tela's pick. She decided that since she was graduating from pre-school that she'd no longer be afraid of the 'fire' at the hibachi table at Osaka. In reality, it turned out that graduating from pre-school didn't change things at all! She practically hid beneath the table when the cooking began.
We finished off lunch at home with the Blue's Clues paw print cake Tela requested.

We are so proud of our pre-school graduate, pictured below! As you can see, pre-school has made quite an impression on her!
