September 3, 2008: Tela's First Day of Pre-School at Robert Morris Elementary School
Here's the "play-by-play"!
Sleepy Tela doesn't want to wake up at 6:45 AM....of course, on any other day when she doesn't have to wake up that early, she's happy to!
Tela quickly finds energy & excitement!
We're on our way to pre-school. One of Tela's favorite neighbors, Chris --- who is in 5th grade at her school --- gave her a first day of school present: a pencil that smells like cotton candy. That's what she's checking out as we walk.
And then poses with this special pencil
We are just as excited as Tela as we wait for the school bell to ring.
Tela found her school-bus nametag and took her seat next to Nicholas. She's ready for her first day. She said that she danced, sat in "circle time" and learned something about a magical star in the sky.
Mommy & Eliza (and Daddy and Pia) anxiously awaited Tela at the end of her first morning. Eliza and mommy had great big hugs waiting for her.
